Haress Chehab
Haress Chehab, creative director at Intermarkets, discussed with Arab Ad in Dubai his background, his special affection for advertising and the challenges of his career in the following interview:
AA: Haress Chehab, could you tell us something about your background?
HC: I began my work in Lebanon in the early 1970s as a journalist with a now-defunct newspaper called As Safa. I was a free-lance reporter and photographer. I then returned to university. It was a long road in and out of university, trying to figure out where I wanted to reach eventually.

Intermarkets has just held its 27th annual management regional meeting in Beirut. Attending were managers of Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Oman.

The main topics of discussion during the three-day conference included current issues and prospectives of Intermarkets activities. Kuwait was chosen as host country for the Conference this year, as the year 1989 marked the 20th year Anniversary of Intermarkets Kuwait.

Intermarkets advertising Kuwait managers with friends and clients
INTERMARKETS held its regional conference from October 3 to 5 in Kuwait at the Sheraton Hotel.
The main topics of discussion during the three day conference included current issues and prospectives of Intermarkets activities. Kuwait was chosen as host country for the conference this year, as the year 1989 marked the 20th year anniversary of Intermarkets Kuwait. Intermarkets Kuwait was established in 1969, with it the birth of the first professional advertising and marketing agency was witnessed. Since that time Intermarkets succeeded in building up its Middle East network.
